Ok, I think it's time for some stoner rock, since this is Stoner Mountain :). Great forgotten, underground pschydelic stoner rock from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

"The group first evolved when vocalist / guitarist Fernando Gigliotti placed ads for available musicians to form a band, duly enrolling drummer Sebastián Romani and bassist Rodrigo Teixido. This trio soon after got down to practicalities and recorded the debut album 'Ojos Del Salado', released in February of 2000, a true homegrown product being recorded in Gigliotti and Romani's bedrooms.

This band was something unique in late '80s and the early '90s. In short, they were technically doom metal! The album is a little bit difficult at first (mainly the vocal), but after a couple of listens you really appreciate where Confessor were coming from.

Soundgarden's debut LP. Maybe not as good as the later albums like Louder Than Love and Badmotorfinger, but it's still pretty killer. Most of the songs seem to go for a nice Sabbath and/or Zeppelin meets The Stooges sound. Which is bloody good combination. Ben Ratliff of Rolling Stone defined Soundgarden as the "standard-bearers of stoner rock" during the 1990s.

A-side (tracks 1-12) - Nik Bullen (Scorn) vocals/bass, Justin Broadrick (Godflesh, Jesu, Final, Techno Animal) guitar and Mick Harris (Scorn) on drums who also played on the second side. B-side (tracks 13-28) - Lee Dorrian (Cathedral) vocals, Bill Steer (Carcass, Firebird) guitar and Jim Whiteley bass.

I fucking love this album, but this music is not for everyone.

She Loves Pablo is a three-piece band from Zagreb, Croatia. Started in late 2005. as a stoner-rock duo (Domagoj – guitars/vocals, Leo – drums), the band immediately recorded its first demo, entitled simply «She Loves Pablo». They played their first dozen shows in and around their hometown, sneaking into the Croatian stoner scene which was rapidly growing at the time, and is now kicking ass with amazing bands such as Ruiz, Cojones, Stonebride, Umor, Toro, and «Sonic Doom Records», an indie label making it all easier. In 2006. the band recorded their second CD, an EP entitled «Country Home», where they experimented with a different, more radio-friendly sound. The following year was a year of change. Hrvoje (bass) joined in, adding that low-frequency ass-kicking which was missing. This gave the band room to experiment and to step away from the stoner-rock stereotypes, combining blues influences with a massive, psychedelic groove. The band's debut album, «Mother Of All» was recorded and self-released in 2009. It contains 10 tracks from almost every era of the band, and beautifully sums up the work of She Loves Pablo. And the tumbleweed keeps rollin'...

Tracks 1-3 were recorded for John Peel's radio show in 1990.
Track 4 was recorded as part of the 'Sweet Sound Of Excess' session.
Track 5-6 were recorded live in New York in 1993 in front of about 300 Americans who didn't pay to get in.
Tracks 7-10 were recorded for Peel in 1992.
Tracks 11-13 were recorded at the Dynamo Fest in Holland in front of 36,000 people. We shit our pants but had a fun day.

"Core debuted with their first album, Revival, in 1996 on Atlantic Records. The album was produced by Billy Anderson and supported by tours with Fu Manchu, Clutch and Orange 9mm.[1] Despite this publicity, the album suffered due to limited promotion.[1] The band bounced back in 1999 with their follow up, The Hustle Is On on MIA Records and Tee Pee Records. Raging Speedhorn were formed in 1998 from the merging of the bands Soulcellar and Box. Through a 'frightening' stage presence and heavy re-working of riffs reminiscent of early Black Sabbath, the band quickly established itself as a major presence within the UK's heavy metal scene.

Raging Speedhorn featured two vocalists, a style largely inspired by the UK hardcore band, Hard to Swallow, who were latter vocalist, Bloody Kev's former band. The band's first single, "Thumper" (produced by industrial veteran, Marc Heal) was released in 2000 to significant critical acclaim.[citation needed] In 2001 they charted in the UK Singles Chart with "The Gush".

Conference of the Birds is my favourite Om album, the first song At Giza is incredibile.

This is the debut for the new band led by Dinosaur Jr.'s J. Mascis , joined by members of psych-rockers Feathers.

"Witch was formed in 2005 by Dinosaur Jr guitarist J Mascis and long time friend Dave Sweetapple. However, Mascis does not play guitar for the band; he plays his first instrument, the drums. To complete the band's lineup, Mascis and Sweetapple recruited the guitarist and vocalist, Kyle Thomas, from avant-folk group Feathers. Their eponymous debut album was released on March 7, 2006. They also contributed an alternate version of the song "Rip Van Winkle" to the Invaders compilation, which was released by Kemado Records later that year.
